Comments: Ken was great. Returned phone calls, showed up on time, knew the product inside and out and was very professional. In 20 years of living in Florida, Ken is the first contractor that I have hired that actually cleaned the work area when he was finished. Would hire him again in a heartbeat.

Comments: Ken from Ambient Security Systems is top shelf: A++++++. He and his assistant were able to figure out the problems, which were many, with my alarm system and correct them. He is very professional and I do not hesitate to recommend him. I've owned motels, restaurants, etc and have much experience dealing with contractors and service people. Ken ranks at the very top. In fact, he is returning to fix my smoke alarms, hard wired, that also do not work. I have complete confidence he will do a great job for me as he has in the past.

Equipment installation/mounting was very clean and they were very respectful of my house. Additionally, spoke with my monitoring service to make sure that all of the zones were working properly. I'd definitely use them again.

Comments: I was very pleased with the speed, professionalism and courtesy of Ambient Sounds. When Kenny called to alert me that he was running late due to traffic, I knew I had a winner!! How unusual it is to find a company that cares about your time!! My installation was done quickly and then everything was exlained very thoroughly. I immediately recommended Ambient to my friends who also used them for a new security system. Service like this is rare in Miami and I am so pleased to have found Ambient Sounds and Security Systems. It is my pleasure to recommend them highly.

Comments: I called and told them I needed my system reset because I couldn't disable it. The next day a serviceman comes out and says he can't reset it without the code. He's never seen anything like it, he calls for further assistance to no avail. I am told it needs a new board. I am charged $85 plus a $15 trip charge for 15 minutes. As it turns out I was putting in the wrong code; I was able to reset it and it didn't need a new board. I'm just glad I didn't have to have them come out again.

Ambient Security's Response:
We knew he was putting in the wrong code. We went out for a service call to try and retrieve his code but the alarm was already armed. Once the alarm is armed, there is nothing anyone can do to retrieve and or change a code. Because he was not able to remember the code, we had to propose to replace the panel. After our service call, he remembered the code and it worked. We did charge for our technicians time in trying to save the customer money by trying to retrieve his code. We acted ethically and professionally. I am sorry that the customer feels we didn't. We pride ourselves in customer service as our reputation does speak for itself.

I can not thank him enough for walking me through the steps to disable the alarm. That over the phone service alone warranted my writing this review. I look forward to the follow-up call to get the alarm fully serviced.
